Former Chairman of the Lagos chapter of the National Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Musiliu Akinsanya famously known as MC Oluomo has joined the campaign for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to retain his seat.

Olumo, a transport union leader cum socialite, led the Ondo state chapter of the NURTW to “endorse” the Governor ahead of the gubernatorial election.

The endorsement, which means the NURTW officially backs Aiyedatiwa to remain in office, transpired on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

“Also, a national leader of NURTW, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC OLUOMO, lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa’s outstanding leadership, highlighting that his leadership qualities have garnered strong support from union members.

“He urged all the drivers in the state to continue rallying support for the Governor’s election”, a statement signed by Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to Aiyedatiwa confirmed the presence of the former Chairman of the Lagos state chapter of the NURTW at the event.”

The Chairman of the Ondo State NURTW, Ademola Odudu, was also present at the event, which also saw the presence of the Secretary to the State Government, Hon.
