Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has declared that the country remains too strong and resilient to be cowed by insurgents, expressing optimism that the nation’s security challenges will soon be brought under control.

Speaking on Saturday during a meeting with members of the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers’ Council at the Government House in Ado-Ekiti, the First Lady urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and continue supporting efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability across the country.

She reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to tackling insecurity, noting that the administration is working relentlessly to address security threats and ensure lasting peace nationwide.

Oluremi Tinubu also acknowledged the support Nigeria continues to receive from international partners in combating insurgency and other security challenges, expressing confidence that ongoing efforts would yield positive results in the near future.

According to her, Nigerians must not allow fear to overshadow their faith in the country’s ability to overcome its current challenges.

“Nigerians are too great to be intimidated by insurgents. Let us remain hopeful and continue to pray for the nation,” she said.

The First Lady further stated that divine intervention and collective determination would help the country surmount its difficulties, adding that God would not abandon Nigeria in its quest for peace, security, and progress.
