Media personality Frank Edoho has denied allegations of domestic violence, financial neglect, and infidelity levelled against him by his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho.
Sandra had earlier taken to social media to share a series of accusations concerning the breakdown of their marriage. Her posts included photographs allegedly showing bruises and bodily injuries, screenshots of private conversations, and detailed accounts describing what she portrayed as a toxic domestic relationship.
Among the allegations, Sandra claimed Frank once threatened her with a dumbbell during a heated altercation, allegedly warning that he would disfigure her so no other man would find her attractive. She said the incident ultimately forced her to leave their matrimonial home.
Responding to the allegations in a statement released on Thursday amid growing public attention, Frank dismissed the claims as false and described them as a coordinated attempt to tarnish his reputation.
The television host stated that he would not engage in a public battle over the accusations, stressing that the matter would be addressed through legal channels where facts would determine the outcome.
Frank also expressed regret that individuals unrelated to the dispute had been dragged into the controversy, apologising to those whose names and identities had surfaced during the public exchanges.
He further apologised to his sponsors, brand partners, collaborators, and professional associates for any reputational damage or discomfort caused by the publicity surrounding the allegations.
According to him, the matter is currently before the relevant authorities and the courts, making it inappropriate for him to make further detailed comments at this stage.
The media personality also appealed for privacy for his children, describing the period as particularly difficult for them and reiterating his commitment to their welfare and protection.
“I know that truth does not become weaker because it is challenged, nor does character become diminished by accusation alone. I remain committed to handling this situation responsibly, respectfully, and with dignity,” the statement read.
