Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has shared an emotional account of her troubled marital experience and the painful separation from her children during a recent panel discussion.
Speaking candidly at the event, the actress revealed that her children were taken away from her at a young age after she married into a wealthy family. According to Wright, her former in-laws doubted her potential and believed she would never become successful.
The actress explained that her journey into acting was never driven by fame or celebrity status. Instead, she saw it as a way to remain visible so her children could one day find her when they became older.

“My children were taken away from me when they were young because I married into a very wealthy family, and they did not believe I would amount to anything in life. I never even thought of becoming a star. I started acting so that when my children grow up, they would at least know where to find me,” she said.
