Jide Ojuko Salutes People of Ogun West, Ogun State on Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary

Waliu Olajide Ojuko has felicitated with the good people of Ogun West Senatorial District and the entire Ogun State as Nigeria marks her 65th Independence anniversary, commending their resilience, unity, and unwavering hope for a better tomorrow.

In a statement made available to newsheadline247, Ojuko described the anniversary as “a moment of sober reflection and renewed commitment to the ideals of nation-building.”

According to him, “This historic day is not just a celebration of freedom from colonial rule, but also a call to every Nigerian, particularly us in Ogun West and Ogun State, to remain steadfast in building a nation anchored on justice, equity, peace, and prosperity.”

Ojuko lauded the resilience of Nigerians, especially in the face of economic challenges, insecurity, and political uncertainties, noting that the people’s courage and determination have continued to keep the country united.

“Our people have shown remarkable strength and endurance through tough times. It is this spirit of resilience and collective sacrifice that has sustained Nigeria for 65 years. For that, I salute every son and daughter of Ogun State, and indeed every Nigerian,” he said.

He further urged citizens to remain hopeful, determined, and committed to the values of integrity and accountability in leadership, stressing that the destiny of the nation rests on the choices and contributions of its people.

“As we celebrate this milestone, let us recommit ourselves to choosing leaders who will truly serve with honesty and vision, while we continue to work together as one people, united by hope and shared dreams for a greater Nigeria,” Ojuko added.
