The Ogun State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated former Governor of Ogun State and Distinguished Senator, Ibikunle Amosun, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a towering political figure whose influence continues to shape governance and democratic discourse in the state.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the entire PDP family in Ogun State, the party acknowledged Amosun’s enduring contributions to public service, governance, and political development, noting that his leadership footprint remains visible across the state’s political landscape.
The message, signed by the State Chairman of the PDP, Dr. (Hon.) Abayomi Tella, described the former governor as “a true leader and a formidable political force of repute” whose role in Ogun State politics continues to command relevance and respect.
“We recognise your contributions to governance and politics in Ogun State and acknowledge you as a true leader and a formidable political force of repute whose influence continues to shape public discourse and democratic engagement,” the PDP stated.
The party further prayed for the former governor’s continued good health, peace of mind, and longevity, expressing hope that he would remain active in serving both Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
“We wish you good health, peace, and many more fulfilling years of service to our dear state and the nation,” the message added.
