Nigerian singer Brymo has claimed that fellow music star 2Baba once asked his former wife, Annie Macaulay, whether she had ever been intimate with him.

The controversial singer made the allegation during a recent appearance on the Notjustok podcast, where he also admitted to having had relationships with some married women in the past.

Reflecting on his experiences, Brymo advised younger artistes to avoid getting involved with married women, warning that such relationships could have dangerous consequences.

Recalling an incident he said occurred in 2019 at Naomi’s office in Lekki Phase 1, Brymo alleged that 2Baba looked him in the eye and asked Annie directly if she had slept with him.

According to Brymo, the moment has remained unforgettable.

He further claimed that several married women he met often told him they were separated from their husbands before pursuing relationships with him.

Using his experience as a lesson, Brymo urged rising artistes to stay away from affairs involving married women, saying such relationships could “cut your life short.”

As of the time of filing this report, neither 2Baba nor Annie Macaulay has publicly responded to Brymo’s claims.

Brymo has previously stirred controversy over his comments about fellow entertainers. In 2023, he claimed that he had proposed intimate relationships to singer Simi, Ghanaian artiste Efya and other female colleagues in exchange for musical collaborations.
