All roads led to the Herbert Macaulay Library, Yaba, Lagos in the morning of Saturday the 16th of November 2019 as the Faculty of ReadySetWork converged to share learning experiences as well as review strategies to hold another successful edition of the program in two learning centres- LASU and LASPOTECH.

The session, which was anchored by the ReadySetWork Project Team also provided the opportunity for new volunteers and aspiring facilitators to mingle with Faculty members who turned out in their large numbers to participate in the selection and training of the new team members as the program kicks off on Saturday the 23rd of November with 5000 students and in two learning centres- LASU and LASPOTECH.

Alumni of ReadySetWork also turned out in large numbers to volunteer for the project which a graduate of the program readily identified as ‘a life changing experience that has helped me identify and fulfil my potential’ and commended the Lagos State Government for the ennobling vision that birthed the project and the demonstration of its commitment to improving the quality of higher education in the state using technology as a platform and digital literacy to provide wider access and upscale quality delivery.

The ReadySetWork currently boasts of over 250 members drawn from a rich and diverse career/enterprise pool who volunteer to mentor, facilitate and train the students in different subject areas. Over 7,500 students have since graduated from the ReadySetWork program since inception in 2016.
