The Ijebu ruler had during the 2023 Ojude Oba Day announced the appointment of the prominent fuji maestro, K1 as the new Olori Omo Oba of Akile Ijebu.
It was also gathered that Mr Marshal eminently qualified for the title as one of the princes from the Fidipote Ruling House of Ijebu-Ode from where the new occupant of the office is expected to emerge.
K1 replaced late billionaire businessman and astute banker, Otunba Subomi Balogun who held the position for decades before his demise in London on May 19, 2023.
The entire Ijebuland went into unprecedented wild jubilations following Mr Marshal’s appointment as the new Olori Omooba Akile Ijebuland.
Ever since the announcement, the affable fuji music star is said to have rolled out preparations ahead of the much anticipated ceremony.
The installation ceremony will be grand with many society leaders in attendance. Alhaja Balkis Emmanuella Marshal, the wife of the Fuji king, is sparing no expense to ensure a memorable grand event.
